I see inspirational beauty in the neglected.

Through a feminine lens, I employ images of abandonment and death, using digitally-altered photographs and mixed media adding textural elements of wood, resin, and paint. This allows me to explore my relationship with life, myself, and spirituality.

I create a world in which the neglected cannot be ignored.

My goal is to begin a dialogue about humankind’s apathy towards these negative things in order to contemplate the meanings behind our destructive thoughts and actions. I create a world in which the neglected cannot be ignored, with the hopes that awareness may lead to a change in our own.
